Agent skills for FiveM

Teach your coding agent how FiveM resources are really built.

Rules, pitfalls and ready code from day-to-day work on Qbox servers: screens that feel like a game, world placement tools, glass on the NUI, the NUI's Chromium version, GTA asset files, checking and reloading resources, and changing third-party resources without editing them. For Claude Code, Codex and any agent that reads SKILL.md.

Install

Claude Code, Codex and other coding agents

Paste this into the agent and it installs everything by itself, on any system. It works in the terminal, in the Code tab of the Claude desktop app and in the IDE extensions. Send it again later to update.

Install the FiveM skills from https://github.com/mri-Qbox-Brasil/mri-fivem-skills by following its INSTALL.md.

Claude app chat

The chat can't reach your files, so skills go in by upload: download the zip of the skill you want and send it in Settings > Capabilities > Skills.

Prefer the terminal? Commands

Windows (PowerShell)

git clone https://github.com/mri-Qbox-Brasil/mri-fivem-skills "$HOME\mri-fivem-skills"
New-Item -ItemType Directory -Force "$HOME\.claude\skills" | Out-Null
Get-ChildItem "$HOME\mri-fivem-skills" -Directory | Where-Object { Test-Path "$($_.FullName)\SKILL.md" } |
  ForEach-Object { New-Item -ItemType Junction -Path "$HOME\.claude\skills\$($_.Name)" -Target $_.FullName }

macOS / Linux

git clone https://github.com/mri-Qbox-Brasil/mri-fivem-skills ~/mri-fivem-skills
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
for d in ~/mri-fivem-skills/*/; do [ -f "$d/SKILL.md" ] && ln -s "${d%/}" ~/.claude/skills/; done

The clone can live in any folder. For Codex, use .codex instead of .claude.

Contribute a skill

New skills arrive as pull requests: one folder with a SKILL.md, written in English, scripts that only use files inside the folder, and no secrets. Every PR runs an automatic check and gets a review before merging.
